I would like to begin by acknowledging the Toogagal or Toongabbit clan of the Dharug people, and the Weymaly (Warmuli) or Prospect clan, Traditional Custodians of the land on which our campuses are situated today. I also acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. In the Australian National Institute of Education, we pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to the Australian National Institute of Education, one of Australia’s most dynamic, engaging and ambitious educational institutes dedicated to serving international students. In this opportunity, I would also like to briefly share my thoughts on our institute’s role in the Australian education sector landscape.
Our vision articulates a vision that we all share in this organisation. This ambitious vision is to be a leading educational institute recognised for higher standards, graduates’ employability, soft skills development and student support services. We offer excellence in education, training and skills for in-demand and future jobs to students from all over the world.
ANIE is an RTO (Registered Training Organisation), providing the finest education and training through various courses. Our educational activities are regulated and accredited by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) under the National Vocational Education and Training (VET) Quality Framework of Australia. We are also a CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students) registered institute, allowing us to provide Australian education to international students.
Our purpose is to prepare our students for the global and future workforce through supportive teaching, high-quality training and assessment materials, and partnerships with industry, professionals and the community. Therefore, our endeavour to maintain a highly regarded position in the Australian education sector remains the focal point of our operations.
The hallmarks of ANIE’s success are represented by its state-of-the-art modern classrooms equipped with the latest technologies, practical simulation labs equipped with industry-standard facilities, and an extensive student support system. Our vibrant and student-friendly campuses make your student journey – as an international student in this land of multiculturalism – a remarkable experience.
Most importantly, we believe that the achievement of our vision of becoming a world-class education provider relies on attracting and connecting three crucial elements; inquisitive learners, experienced trainers and assessors, and the best training and assessment materials and facilities. Therefore, we never compromise the quality and excellence of these aspects in our institute.
As you navigate around the ANIE website, it will become apparent to you that ANIE doesn’t try to do everything, but what it does, it excels in across several specialised areas such as hospitality, information technology, community services and management. You will also understand our friendly, supportive, collaborative and inclusive culture and our firm commitment to our students, teachers, industry and the community.
I extend to you a very warm welcome to the Australian National Institute of Education (ANIE) while affirming that we can provide you with the knowledge and skills, transforming you into a global citizen and a competent professional.
