At the end of this course, you will receive a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate issued by the NSW Food Authority and a Statement of Attainment.
The NSW Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) Certificate is valid for 5 years as “the Food Act 2003 requires that FSS certificates are renewed every 5 years. It is also a legal requirement that businesses keep a copy of the FSS certificate on the premises – display is recommended.”

ENROLMENT PROCESS
- Pay the fees via bank transfer, online or other available options. Details are available in the INITIAL ENROLMENT FORM.
- Submit the INITIAL ENROLMENT FORM.
- Email the proof of payment (such as a screenshot) and your Photo ID (Driving Licence or Passport) to enrol@anie.edu.au.
- We will shortly send you the login details for your ANIE Learning Management System (LMS) – ANIE Learn account, your ANIE student ID, and all other instructions you need.
- Activate your ANIE Learn account and start the course.
COURSE PROCESS
- Log in to your ANIE Learn account.
- The course is delivered entirely online in a self-paced learning environment.
- You will have access to ANIE Learn for 3 months from your enrolment date.
- Complete the Student Enrolment Form inside the ANIE Learn.
- Read the instructions and Learner Guides.
- Read and watch the training materials provided in the LMS at your convenience. Take notes if necessary.
- Complete the knowledge assessments available in the LMS.
- Perform 7 practical assessment tasks in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Record each practical task while performing them, and submit the 7 videos in the LMS (each video should be less than 2 minutes long).
- Please share the link to the Workplace Supervisor Report with your workplace supervisor, who will complete it online.
- Our assessor will evaluate your activities and make an assessment decision. We will notify you of the outcome.
- If necessary, we will let you know about the rectification tasks.
- If successful, we will send the NSW Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and the Statement of Attainment to your email and postal address.
